Chris Dickson joins the Kidder Group with over 25 years of Manufacturing Operations experience. Starting as a Project Engineer for Ingersoll-Rand (IR), Chris held successively more responsible positions throughout his career at IR culminating as a Vice President/General Manager for the Engineered Products Division. Most recently, Chris was the Executive Vice President of Operations for Technibilt, Ltd. the largest manufacturer of shopping carts in North America and second largest in the world. Chris has also worked with Hubbell Power Systems (electrical distribution devices) and RBC of America (aerospace and industrial linear actuators).
Chris has rich experiences in all functional areas of Operations: Engineering, Materials Management, HR, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Logistics, and Warehousing. He also has broad industry exposure (Automotive, Industrial, Primary Industries, Energy, Steel, Paper, Mining, Biotech, and Retailing solutions) in businesses ranging from several million to over a billion dollars in sales. Chris has a unique perspective to recruiting in that he has been involved in the recruiting and selection process for most of his career. He understands, firsthand, the importance of hiring the “right” people and how LEAN, Six Sigma, TPM, etc are best used to drive continuous improvement. He has also been on both sides of the recruiting equation; as a candidate and client.
Chris has BS and MBA degrees from Clemson University and is a native
South Carolinian.
